UCSC - Institute of the Arts and Sciences - Seeing Through Stone
APRIL 12 @ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Join us for the Opening Celebration of the multi-sited group exhibition, Seeing through Stone, at the Institute of the Arts and Sciences on April 12, 2024. Seeing through Stone invites viewers to see beyond the current realities of prison, drawing attention to already existing practices of imagining the world otherwise. The exhibition includes more than eighty artists and collectives, sixteen newly commissioned projects, as well as works of video, painting, sculpture, installation, sound and performance.
Enjoy refreshments and food from Epoch Eats Food Truck and an after-hours viewing of the exhibition with remarks at 7 p.m. and a special performance by Explode! Platform at 7:15 p.m.

Easter on the Farm
The Agricultural History Project is hosting their Annual Easter on the Farm to celebrate Easter and the beginning of Spring on Saturday, March 30, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Egg Hunts start at 11:15 am and will be every hour in four separate age groups: 3 and under up to 12 years old. Times for egg hunts are 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, 1:15 pm, and 2:15 pm.
Activities for children and adults include: arts & Crafts, hayrides, tractor driving, face painting, meet a really bunny and enjoy a photo op with the Easter Bunny!
This event is FREE! Donations appreciated. Bring your whole neighborhood of children to participate!
